Each carpet has a story. The art of every society is a symbol of the glory and greatness of the culture and civilization of that society. The art of carpet weaving has a role to play in the narration of the principles and traditions of that period.
I am Naghimeh Ghezel, born in 1987 in Bandar-e-Turkmen, with more than 15 years of artistic experience in the field of designing and weaving carpets, panel carpets and needlework.
My career dates back to when my mother learned it as an artistic quality from her past and was essentially passed down to me from generation to generation. So, from an early age, I was familiar with carpet knitting, the unique talent of Turkmen women, and followed it steadily to be competent in this field with treasured support of my mother.
Although I had learned my job experimentally, I later learned scientifically by participating in various classes with eminent subject matter experts.
My effort is always based on the fact that I use original and diverse designs in order to present a creative look and feel of my art, while preserving the originality and essence of the native art at the same time.
The use of natural dyes instead of chemical colors, as well as the charm and use of silk in most of my products, are other points that can be mentioned about my work.
Meanwhile, through Ziloocarpet, I attempt to deliver exquisite products, relying on up-to-date knowledge and over a decade of extensive experience in the production and distribution of genuine and modern handicrafts, rugs, and handmade carpets, as a contribution to promote Iranian and Turkmen arts in the form of carpet knitting and handcrafts.
